You & Me Altered Card

I am just so stinking excited about tonight’s Papertrey Ink release that I am counting down the seconds until I can put all my goodies in my shopping cart.  This month they will be releasing a bunch of Christmas items.  To keep myself busy until then, I thought I would share my latest project with all of you AND GIVE AWAY A FREEBIE

This latest project is a "plastic bag double slider card".  When you pull the ribbon at the top, paper comes out of both the top of the card and the bottom of the card.

In mine I placed some pictures from our camping trip back in May.  There was a nice lake and beach along the shore which made for some great shots of us all together as a family.

My August card class made this project by watching a You Tube Video for instructions.  You can see that video here:  Dawn's Stamping Thoughts

This is a great project for a quick little "scrapbook".  I can put this on my desk at work, send it to Grandma, or just have it lay out on the coffee table here at home.  Because it didn't take me hours to make or cost me a fortune to construct, it's ok to leave out and around for everyone to touch, hold, and play with (although I feel that way about all my projects).

This is also a great summer wrap up project and makes a great way to store a special memory from this past summer.  I'd like you all to take some time to preserve a special memory from this past order to help you do that, I'm giving one of these away to one lucky (random) winner.  All you have to do to win is:  subscribe to my blog when you do that, I'll pick one random winner.  The lucky winner will be asked to email me two photos of a memory they want to preserve, I'll print the pictures and make a double slider card for the winner and post the pictures of the completed project here on my blog.  If you are already subscribed to my blog, you will automatically be entered (google reader or any other readers don't count, you need to subscribe on my actual blog in the right side column so that I actually have some subscribers).  Drawing will close on Friday, September 16, 2011 at 5pm central time.  Good luck everyone and come back to see the winners memory!
